I was originally born in Manchester, UK, but when I was two years old, I moved to the South West; near to a beautiful city called Bristol. Despite being from Manchester, my accent is very neutral and easy to understand as I was actually raised in the south of England.
IELTS Expert
I have been teaching now for close to a decade, and I have two certificates of IELTS teacher training through IDP, which were organized for a select few people. I also took private 1-1 tuition with an Ex-IELTS examiner to teach me what IELTS examiners actually look for from candidates in the exam. Aside from my academic achievements within IELTS, I am in frequent contact with current IELTS examiners and people within the British Council, which allows me to get up-to-date information on the latest goings on within the exam.
Bi-lingual
I have spent the last 8 years living in Vietnam where I have started a small family and Vietnamese is the language I use at home. Due to this, my Vietnamese is at a near-native level (C1), so I may be a good fit for Vietnamese learners.
